I have a question…

April 9, 2006

I like to make sure that my Senators and Representative know that they have a constituent that doesn’t agree with the rubber stamp congress. I had originally planned on putting my representatives’ responses to my letters about current issues. Just to share the “talking points.” Is there an issue with posting letters sent by my representatives on the internets??

I’d like to know your thoughts, please let me know.

I think it would be a great idea. I’ve considered doing that myself, although I find that – sadly – more of the responses I get here from Vermont reps are form letters. This was not always the case.

Thank you Kate. It seems like it should be public information to me, too. If they’re form letters I can’t retype them?? Is that an unknown blogger rule? hehe
I compared my two kool-aid drinking/pouring Senators letters, on Alito, I believe. They both had all the talking points. Perhaps the comparison will be interesting, or maybe the non-talking points. That should make Liddy’s excerpts pretty short. 🙂
